We invite you to participate in the 2nd Annual Plainfield River Days Art Fair. The fair will be held along the West side of DuPage River in downtown Plainfield.
In addition to the visual arts there will be live music, food, a beer tent and community activities. Plainfield River Days will be well publicized and attended by an enthusiastic crowd.
Exhibiting Artist Guidelines
Only original art of your own design and execution is acceptable. Plainfield Art League reserves the right to refuse any application at their discretion and refund the artist booth fee. No fees will be refunded after an artist is accepted.
Set up time starts at 7 - 9am on Saturday, September 10th. Dismantle time is from 6:00pm to 7:00pm. No cars will be allowed after 9am or before 6pm. Artists are expected to maintain their booths for the duration event.
Only one Artist is allowed per booth and the exhibiting Artist is expected to be present. Each artist will be assigned a booth location and exhibit must stay within the assigned 10’ x 10’ area. Artist may pay for two booth spaces, if a larger area is needed. Artists are responsible for their own tents, display tables materials; set-up and dismantling of booths are the responsibility of the artist. A supply of 20 postcards invitations will be provided to each artist.

General Information: Please submit images of your work either via e-mail or mail, include a self-addressed stamped envelope if you wish the images returned. Only original art of your own design and execution is acceptable. Each entry must be accompanied by a completed application and booth fee of $50.00.
Booth Information: All artists will be assigned a 10x10 space. We will try to accommodate reasonable requests. Special needs must be listed on entry form. However, specific locations cannot be guaranteed.
The entry fee is $50.00 per 10x10 space, artists may pay for two spaces.
Waiver and Acceptance of Guidelines: Although every precaution will be taken to guard against loss or damage to all work at the Fair, the artist hereby waives the right to any claim for loss or damage to their work, tent or any other belongings. Neither Plainfield Art League nor The Plainfield Riverfront Foundation is liable and the artist agrees to assume all responsibility for their entries and to abide by the guidelines set forth herein.
