In its 7th year, Art Spectacular is a juried fine art and fine craft fair and a fund raiser for the 67-bell Rees Carillon. Best-ranked fine art fair in Springfield, IL in 2010 Fine Art SourceBook! With a maximum of 50 artists, this art-loving, supporting community loves the high quality of this art fair. Artists love the beautiful park setting, amenities (including free beverages & snacks throughout the event), and attention they receive by the all-volunteer staff and on-site promoter. Besides original artwork in a variety of mediums, Art Spectacular features Patron Bucks, Kids' Place, kids' art sale, local musicians, silent auction, gift basket raffle, and food vendors. Artists' dinner and $1,200 in artist awards. Easy load-in and out. Overnight security. Event takes place rain or shine outside on the lawn.
