Experience the magic of Ravenswood like never before! We are pleased to announce The Raven, Chicago’s newest festival that will provide funding to rebuild and replace the existing playground for future generations to enjoy. The Raven will take place June 18th through the 20th at beautiful Chase Park on the 4700 block of Ashland Street between Lawrence and Leland.
Come out to play, and enjoy three days and nights full of live entertainment, food from local restaurants and merchandise from trendy and traditional Chicagoland vendors. The Raven is a guaranteed good time for kids, families and adults of all ages. You won’t want to miss the magical experience of The Raven! The “true” magic of Ravenswood can be experienced at the Kidz Nest! The Kidz Nest gives fest goers a taste of the family fun that makes Ravenswood such a unique neighborhood. There is children’s entertainment, inflatables, face painting and interactive activities for children of all ages. Come be a part of the Family Magic!
Located in Ravenswood, a beautiful neighborhood with tree-lined streets, green parks, spacious and historic homes, and a great shopping destination for all with public transportation making it an easy destination for all to escape to and enjoy. Chase Park is the ideal place for this festival to take place, a hub that brings culture and creativity together in a highly valued and entertaining area that continues to rapidly expand and diversify.
The Chase Park Advisory Council (CPAC) is a non-profit, all volunteer group who are actively and collectively working together to develop, foster and sponsor programs and community activities that raise funds to enhance Chase Park. The Raven is also presented by Community Building Tutors, the Ravenswood Chamber of Commerce, the Ravenswood Community Council, Alderman Gene Schulter of the 47th Ward, and the Chicago Park District. Working together, these organizations represent the community interest represents the community interest in the following two main areas; improving and maintaining all areas of Chase Park and improving, expanding, and creating new Chicago Park District programs for children and adults.
