Preparations are underway for the ninth edition of our annual art/food/music festival, the Taste of River North and we are pleased to extend a special invitation to you.
This is the only major summer event conducted in, and dedicated to, the spectacular River North neighborhood and we're eager for it to reflect the strength, passion and vibrancy of our creative community.
This year, we've arranged for all of our art and design exhibitors to be arrayed along
the beautiful river walk. There will also be a concession in the center of this area where guests can purchase wine-by-the-glass and small plates of cheese, crackers and fruit to enhance the "gallery experience".
Taste of River North at a glance:
Schedule - Noon to 10pm on Sat, July 17th and 11am to 8pm on Sun, July 18th.
Site - The north and south sections of Park 511, along the river walk, on Erie west of Kingsbury, on Larabee south of Huron and on Kingsbury between Ontario and Erie.
Entertainment - The area's best food, multiple live bands representing various genres, and an array of attractions and special activities for kids and dogs!
Promotion - The event will be marketed to tens of thousands by Traffic PR and featured in festival directories, email blasts, web ads, posters, postcards and selected print media, plus at least 40 promotional spots on Jack FM, our media sponsor!
Professional support - Ravenswood Special Events will handle logistics, security
and vendor coordination, including support with city/state permit requirements.

Why we do it - This is the 9th year of our festival and although it continues to grow in size and scope, our goal is still to produce a safe, enjoyable and successful event that respects the neighborhood and supports the local business community.
