This year's show will be held August 24th and 25th. Show hours are from 10am-5pm
Beneath the canopy of century-old oaks aside Lake Ellyn, the Glen Ellyn Lions will once again host the Annual Glen Ellyn Festival of the Arts, which for more than 40 years has been held in late August in the Village of Glen Ellyn. One of the most respected and longest running juried fine arts shows in the Midwest, the Glen Ellyn Festival of the Arts has become a favorite of fine artists, a magnet to the community for shoppers, and a key contributor to the attraction and quality of life in Glen Ellyn.
Since 2004, the Glen Ellyn Lions club has organized and managed this event, to keep it non-profit and independent. Proceeds from the event benefit the Lions various missions involving Sight and Sound. Your participation in this show helps benefit those with Sight & Hearing Disabilities in Glen Ellyn, Northern Illinois and Worldwide.
In addition to hosting fine artists in all media, the Arts Fest also presents musical acts ranging from local students to seasoned professionals in choral, big band, jazz, folk, classical, and world music.

AWARDS
$1,400 IN CASH PRIZES.
$600 Best of Show, $400 Award of Excellence and two, $200 Awards of Merit. There are also 4 Judges Awards with the recipients receiving a complimentary booth space to next year's show. Award winners are selected by professional judge(s), for excellence, regardless of media.
PUBLICITY
The Glen Ellyn Festival of the Arts is promoted through featured newspaper articles, internet and print advertising, eblasts, magazine ads, and broadcast radio promotion. All events have a strong marketing and media campaign.
The following mediums are to be included in each show: ceramics, drawing, fiber non-functional, fiber wearable, paper non-functional, furniture, glass, jewelry, acrylic, oil, watercolor, pastel, sculpture, wood, mixed media, collage, photography, and printmaking.

The application fee is $25.00. All applicants are juried by an independent jury made up of artists of various mediums.
A maximum of 85 artists will exhibit at the 2013 Glen Ellyn Festival of the Arts. There will be a wait list after the 85 artists with the highest jury scores have been selected. Artist on the wait list will be notified in order when spaces become available.
• Send FIVE (5) images of representative work and ONE (1) image of your booth display.
• Submit EITHER slides or digital files (digital preferred).
• All digital images should be in JPG format of approximately 1MB in size and no larger than 2MB each.

The booth fee is 200.00 and is due by June 15th. There will 75% refund of the booth fee if the request is received before July 1st. After July 1st there will be no refund of the booth fee.
Participation is open to all fine art. All work represented must be of an original concept executed and designed by the artist in attendance. The Glen Ellyn Festival of the Arts reserves the right to remove any and all works deemed not suitable at the time of the festival. It also reserves the right to select or invite other applicants in order to ensure a balance of medium. The Festival of the Arts reserves the right to refuse any application at their discretion and refund the artist booth fee. Any Artist not conforming to the Show Rules will be removed; no fees will be refunded after July 1st.
The footprint of each display space is a minimum of 10 feet across the front and 12 feet deep. We will attempt to honor specific space requests on a first-come, first-served basis after receiving the booth fee; however, final booth location will be determined by the needs of the show to ensure a proper balance throughout the show grounds.
Booth location and number are subject to change and will be available approximately one week before the event. Only one artist is allowed per booth unless work Is collaborative and the exhibiting artist is expected to be present during the Festival of the Arts. Most display spaces are free from obstruction. All spaces are easily accessible to patrons’ traffic flow.
