Septemberfest is an outdoor festival featuring an arts & crafts show, entertainment on three stages, a carnival, craft beer & wine area, Taste of Schaumburg, Not-for-Profit Day, Bingo, free pony rides on Saturday, fireworks on Sunday evening, and a Labor Day parade on Monday.
The 52nd annual Septemberfest is held on the impressive Robert O. Atcher Municipal Center grounds in Schaumburg, IL. Schaumburg is the largest center of economic development in the State of Illinois, outside the City of Chicago, but it is also very much a community of neighbors and neighborhoods. The three-day event draws approximately 250,000 and offers free admission. Enjoyed by artists for its crowds, attentive committee and staff, and beautiful location, the premier festival has become a favorite of both vendors and patrons.
Eligible crafts and fine arts are inclusive of, but not limited to the following: baskets, candles, ceramics/pottery, clothing, crocheted/knitting, doll/goose clothing, fine art, floral, furniture, glass, jewelry, kids items/clothing, metal, pet items, photography, sewn items, soaps/skincare, stained glass, stone/concrete, or woodworking all crafted by the artist. No imports, kits, resale products, manufactured items, product-line reps, edible items (pet products excluded), and fuel generators are permitted.
